Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): Ilandlo Services Pvt Ltd became the first official startup from Nagaland to raise money through the North East Venture Fund (NEVF) during the 28th NEDFi foundation day on August 9. 

This fund provides capital, mentorship, and resources to individuals or businesses looking to start or expand ventures in the North East. It aims to promote economic growth, job creation, and innovation in the region. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in Ilandlo’s journey towards revolutionizing the logistic and Indigenous landscape. 

With this infusion of capital, Ilandlo aims to further enhance its innovative offerings, strengthen its market presence, and continue delivering unparalleled value to its clients, embracing its vision of ‘Empowering Sustainable Livelihoods.’ 

It is noted that Ilandlo Services Pvt Ltd  won the Grand Winner of the Startup Nagaland Award in 2022 under Startup Nagaland and the  founders are Lipokjungla Ozukum and Imtisunup Longchar. They also mentioned this infusion of capital would help them build better software, foster strategic partnerships, create more jobs and ultimately reshape the local products beyond Nagaland.

They thanked NEDFI for the unwavering support, and also mentioned the role of startup Nagaland, especially its incubator Educentre Schools of Business for helping startups through their constant mentorship, guidance and fostering entrepreneurship spirit in Nagaland to inspire, innovate and grow.
