
Dimapur, July 12 (MExN): Chumdemo Ngullie from Pangti village, who was working as Joint General Manager, Indian Ordinance Factories Services (IOFS) at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, breathed his last on July 11 at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad, Telangana, after a prolonged illness.
As per a DIPR report, the moral remains of late Chumdemo Ngullie reached Dimapur by Flight on July 12. On arrival, a short sent off service in honor of the deceased officer was held in the airport premises where hundreds of people paid homage and laid wreathes as a mark of respect to the departed soul. Family members, relatives, villagers and friends described late Chumdemo as a selfless and dedicated government officer. Many also lauded the officer for his honestly and humbleness. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Born on August 30, 1968, late Chumdemo was from the 1994 batch Group A service UPSC and was working as the Jt GM, IOFS under Ministry of defence. He also worked for a short stint in NEC in the capacity of Assistant Secretary.
After the sent off service at Dimapur Airport, his mortal remains was taken to his native village, Pangti for his final resting place.
