First randomization of political parties at Pughoboto

Pughoboto, February 2 (DIPR): First Randomization of all recognised Political Parties under the 13 Pughoboto A/C to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly was held at Pughoboto on February 2.  

ADC & DEO Pughoboto Avelu Ruho stated that trainers have been deputed with the EVMs and VVPAT to villages for awareness and also kept the machine reserved for training. While apprising the Machines requirements status under the Sub-Division, she also said that those recognised political party wants to Public rally must take permission from the authority with “ No Objection Certificate” from the area they want to do so. They could also apply online with proof documents.  

Earlier the officials and recognised political party representatives checked the machines properly with tight security of para- military forces at the customary court hall Pughoboto.  

ADC & DEO Pughoboto informs

Pughoboto, February 2 (DIPR): In pursuance to the ECI approval, ADC & DEO, Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho has informed of the shift or change in nomenclature of Polling Stations under 13-Pughoboto A/C.  

Shift of polling stations: Ghokimi PS No. 27 - Shifted from Anganwadi Center to Village Community Hall; Khughutomi PS No. 16 - Shifted from GPS to Village Council Hall; Mishilimi PS No. 29 - Shifted from Community hall to GMS Mishilimi.  

Change in Nomenclature: Tsaphimi PS No.2 - GPS upgraded to GHS; Kichilimi PS No. 4 - GPS upgraded to GMS; Kilomi PS no.19 - GPS upgraded to GHS; Ghathashi PS No.21 - GMS upgraded to GHS; and Asukiqa PS No.24 - GMS upgraded to GHS.  

Arm License holders notified

ADC & DEO, Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho has in a notification has directed all Arm License holders under Pughoboto to deposit their Arms at the nearest Police Station against proper receipt for such deposit(s) on or before the last date for withdrawal of candidature i.e 12th February, 2018. All fire arms deposited as per the order is to be kept in safe custody at the respective Police Station till one week after the declaration of the result or till the election process is over, whichever is later.  

The directive issued in the notification has also prohibited carrying of Arms/Weapons within its jurisdiction for any purpose other than for the purpose of verification/deposit of the arms or for uploading NDAL database. ADC and DEO has further informed respective officer-in-charge of Police Stations to submitted a daily report on the deposit/seizure of Arms/Weapons through any means of communication. Failure to comply with the directive will lead to cancellation of the Arms License(s) or any appropriate penal action as per the rules in force, stated the notification.
