Jalukie, March 7 (DIPR): Director of Fisheries, Kevisa Kense inaugurated a fish kiosk at New Jalukie in Peren district on March 7. The Director lauded the completion of the project in time and also encouraged the fish kiosk owners to make the best use of the facilities provided by the Government. Deputy Director of the department, Ketusielie Angami gave a brief background of the project. He said that the construction of fish kiosk is being funded under the negotiated loan of NABARD (RIDF-XX) during 2015-2016. The main objective of the project is to provide fresh, hygienic fish to consumers by maintaining utmost quality control, he added. The programme was chaired by SDFO, C. Dory Yanthan, who also delivered the welcome address.
