Kohima, June 27 (MExN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has announced that the fixture draw for the 24th edition of the Dr. T Ao Trophy (Inter-District Football Championship) 2025 will take place on June 30 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima. According to a statement issued by the NFA, the draw ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM and will include participation from all 17 Member District Football Associations affiliated to the NFA, as well as members of the Tournament Technical Committee.
The prestigious inter-district championship, hosted this year by the Kohima District Football Association (KDFA), will be held from August 1 to 15, 2025, in Kohima.
The association has directed all district football associations and technical committee members to attend the fixture draw event without fail. Members of the Organizing Committee and representatives of the various Sub-Committees for the tournament have also been requested to be present.
The Dr. T Ao Trophy, named after legendary Naga footballer Dr. Talimeren Ao, is one of the most prominent football tournaments in Nagaland and serves as a platform to scout and promote local football talent from across the districts.
