Kohima, September 27 (MExN): The organising committee of the Jubilee Trophy 2022 in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of Koinonia Baptist Church has been drawn at Ura Academy Hall in Kohima on Tuesday evening.
An update from the organisers informed that a brief programme was held where representatives/ managers of the participating teams were present for the fixture draw.
The inaugural function will be held on October 20 afternoon and matches will be played in two venues – Meriema Ground and Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
An amount of Rs 2,70,000 along with certificates, trophies is being set for the prize of Jubilee Trophy 2022, while the champion team will receive Rs. 1,00,000, first runner-up will win Rs. 70,000 and the losing two semi-finalist will receive Rs. 30,000 each.
Cash award for individual prize is also being set where the Highest Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender and Best Midfielder will be awarded Rs.5000 each while the player of the tournament will be awarded with Rs.10,000.
A total of 27 teams comprising Father’s fellowship/ men’s department from various churches in and around will vie for the championship that will culminate on November 5, 2022.
