Flood Lights Project at Kigwema launched

Kohima, November 5 (MExN): Kigwema Youth Organisation (KYO) organised a thanksgiving gathering on completion of a Flood Lights Project at Kigwema local ground, commonly known as Khulera by the village people on November 3 in the presence of sponsors and well wishers.   DIPR stated in a report that the, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Speaker Vikho-o Yhoshu who also hails from Kigwema village graced the launching programme where 12 big erected posts were been lit by him. It was a delight for the villagers to see the night lit like daytime which would enable activities such as games etc during the night also.   Addressing the occasion, Yhoshu congratulated the Youth Organisation for success of the project. He also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to them as they have been undertaken such a good project for the welfare of the village community. He also wished them well for their endeavour and promised to extend his support and help for any further development of the project in future.   Night Bazaar during Hornbill Festival The President of Kigwema Youth Organisation, Vibelie Mera on his address said that the Youth Organisation intends to organise a Night Bazaar at Kigwema local ground during the Hornbill Festival as an extension of 2018 Hornbill Festival with the theme “Traditional Evening Part”.   The Night Bazaar will begin from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm every evening showcasing the traditions and culture with various food items, fineries, household items and so on so forth. He also said, about 40 to 50 stalls are to set up by SHGs and other various groups to showcase and also to promote locally available products and produce.   The President therefore, requested the public to come forward and give support to the youth to boost their moral and encourage them in way of buying their products, food items etc.
