DIMAPUR, JULY 18 (MExN): The Nagaland State Council of Ministers in a meeting held today asked the Governor that in the event the Assembly is summoned for a floor test, the same should be fixed within a reasonable time frame and in accordance with the relevant Rules. This was communicated by the Nagaland CM in a letter to the Governor. The CM added that “as suggested by the Governor in meeting with the Council of Ministers on July 14 and NPF Party functionaries on July 15, “genuine efforts are being initiated to bring reconciliation between the Party Legislators.” Particular reference may be made to the revocation of the suspension from membership of the NPF Party of 10 MLAs and the sitting Lok Sabha MP, the CM added, while expressing hope that the Governor would consider the request favourably.
