Kiphire, March 15 (MExN): Twenty students of Zisaji College Kiphire and three teaching faculties led by the Principal Helen Jamir undertook an exposure trip to Sikkim, Gangtok for five days which was funded under ‘Floriculture RUSA’.
Helen Jamir expressed gratitude to the RUSA for making the trip successful and said that the students need this kind of exposure trip as most of them have not ventured out from their homes. She also added that with this kind of exposure the students will know how people are advancing in every field and so that they are motivated by getting an exposure. Sharing their experience, one of the students said that the exposure trip has given an opportunity to let them learn more of floriculture and also to know more about the diversity of floriculture.
The visiting students and faculties visited department of Horticulture Sikkim University, plant conservatory Sikkim and Tsango Lake.
