DIMAPUR, MARCH 13 (MExN): Dimapur Police have strictly prohibited operation of unauthorized Drone/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) over and around Dimapur Airport. A general advisory issued by the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur on Wednesday said there have been instances where unauthorized Drone/UAV has been operational over and around Dimapur Airport, which amounts to serious breach of security and may jeopardize the flight safety. In this connection, Dimapur Police have cautioned that violation of the same will attract punitive action under section 287/336/337/338 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
