Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): The Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA) held its General Assembly at Khunbi Baptist Church under Maring Naga Baptist Association in Manipur’s Chandel district on March 10 and 11 with the theme ‘Dwelling together in unity’.
A press release from FNBA general secretary, Rev. H. Gideon stated that inspiring messages were brought by Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC exposing the theme from Psalms 133, Rev. Dr. Jolly Rimai, Mission Secretary, CBCNEI with the topic ‘Heal our Land’ based on 2 Chronicles 7:14, and Rev. Dr. Atsi Dolie, Executive Director, ABCC with the topic ‘Love your brothers and sisters’ based on 1 John 4: 20-21.
The Assembly adopted a resolution stating “…we realize that we must develop a closer working relationship among the Naga family to encourage and to strengthen weaker and struggling members within our own family to discover their place and role within the bigger family.”
According to the release, it resolved to encourage the Naga Baptist Associations across the borders to come together for spiritual fellowship under the banner of FNBA to “celebrate our commonness as a family and our identity in Christ.”
It further affirmed, “That, the FNBA as a family of Baptist by denomination we will safeguard the authority of the Bible, propagate the biblical faith and cooperate in our witness to the world around us.”
