PHEK, MARCH 27 (MExN): Social Welfare Society for Rural Development (SOWSORD) Wezihu, held Field Non-Governmental Organization of Reproductive Child Health (FNGO RCH) II project inauguration programme on March 13.
According to SOWSORD Director, Rev L C Puli informed that the programme was chaired by SOWSORD, T Joshou, while the invocation prayer and welcome address was delivered by RW Ayitu President Council of Pochury Baptist Church. The introductory speech was done by Dr Chikhusie Medical Officer Meluri, Sub Division.
In his introductory speech, he highlighted the objectives of RCH and congratulated SOWSORD for launching out the programme in Meluri, sub-division and encouraged the people to give fullest cooperation and active participation so as to implement the programme meaningfully.
The release stated that L Meru, State incharge Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA) also the consultant of SOWSORD inaugurated the Field NGO RCH II project. In his inaugural speech, he appreciated the Government for recognizing to implement the project and further emphasized on the community participation/transparency at all level and accountability to the concern department and community area.
Special song was presented by Wezihu Baptist Church Choir while the vote of thanks was delivered by Director SOWSORD and benediction prayer led by Rev T Kachusie.
