FNR congratulates Niketu Iralu on Peace Award

Dimapur, November 13 (MExN): The Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has congratulated Niketu Iralu, popularly known as “Uncle Niketu,” for being conferred the International Lifetime Achiever Award for his lifelong work in peace and reconciliation, particularly among the Naga people. In a statement, FNR described Iralu as a “household name and moral voice” for the people, who has devoted over 65 years to the global movement of Moral Re-Armament, now known as Initiatives of Change. The forum stated that Iralu has been a “steadfast keeper of conscience, championing peace, justice, and human dignity with humility.” The award recognises his enduring legacy of a life in service to humanity, the statement added. It highlighted that his presence in the Forum for Naga Reconciliation has been a “guiding force,” offering clarity, courage, and vision in its “Journey of Common Hope” towards healing and unity. FNR expressed gratitude for Iralu's life, witness, and wisdom, extending prayers that his days “continue to be filled with strength, peace, and the quiet joy of knowing that his life has been a blessing to many.”
