
WOKHA, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Wokha organized 2 days free Football Coaching Camp and exhibition match on October 30 and 31 at DBHSS Football Ground Wokha, under the initiative of the Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland, Kohima in collaboration with Nagaland Sports Association.
The event was organized as a part of SVEEP activities in creating awareness among young students for new registration in the Electoral Roll. The camp was conducted by a five-member team including AIFF certified coaches. Altogether 56 students (48 Boys & 8 Girls) from various school & colleges participated in the camp.
Speaking at the camp, NuhutaTunyi, SDO (C) Wokha& Nodal Officer SVEEP in his keynote address encouraged the young students in Electoral Participation by enrolling themselves in the Electoral Rolls and practice clean election through informed and ethical voting. Help Desk on Voter Registration and Education Centre was provided at the venue to assist the young youths for new registration. An exhibition match was played among the participants by forming four teams. The winners of the match were awarded with Jerseys from the coaches.
