Forever 21 is the latest brand to be slammed for an offensive (and rather creepy) slogan t shirt. Twitter users have called out the high street chain for a £16 men's t-shirt which reads: 'Don't say maybe if you want to say no' across the front; an eyebrow-raising joke which seems to make light of rape and consent. After the image was circulated on Twitter, Forever 21 removed the product from its website and issued the following statement: "Forever 21 strives to exemplify the highest ethical standards and takes feedback and product concerns very seriously. With regards to the t-shirt in question, upon receiving feedback from our customers, we took immediate action to have it removed from our website. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by the product." In July 2015, a Twitter user called out another Forever 21 t shirt for 'promoting rape culture'.
