Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): The former members of recently resigned NPF 5 Ghaspani-II A/C Office Bearers who resigned en masse on February 25 issued a rejoinder terming the claim made by NPF Dimapur Division as “baseless and fabricated.” The mass resignation was prompted, according the former members, by the “unconstitutional, biased and indifferent attitude meted out to the Ghaspani-II A/C”.
The statement issued by Vilasielie Nakhro and M Alen Singson former President and General Secretary NPF 5 Ghaspani-II A/C alleged “delay to authenticate the A/C parallel party set up by last 2018 State Assembly party official and defeated candidate Dr Kevingulie Khro.”
In a press release on February 26, Er Rhonthungo Ovung President, NPF Dimapur Division and Pusazo Luruo Vice President, NPF Central (In-charge of Dimapur Division) stated that the NPF Dimapur Division that the “NPF 5 Ghaspani-II is largely intact except for a few individuals” who for their “selfish interest” have been causing misunderstanding and confusion within the party set-up of the constituency.
The former members of NPF termed the claim made by Dimapur NPF Division that “NPF 5 Ghaspani-II is largely intact except for a few individuals” as “funny and amusing.” It further stated that the members have unanimously decided to dissolve the entire A/C setup when they resigned en masse on February 25 and therefore, the claim holds no ground.
“Where and how this fabricated self styled vibrant adopted supporters without convening the meeting”, the statement added.
