Former DMC candidate for NPF joins BJP

Former Dimapur Municipal Council candidate for NPF, Omega Yepthomi formally joined the BJP on Monday in the presence of Minister PHED, Jacob Zhimomi during a programme at Durga Mandir hall, Dimapur.

A mass joining programme of Omega and other NPF workers to BJP fold was organized in their honour. Addressing the gathering, Minister, Jacob welcomed Omega and his followers into the BJP adding, “You have taken a very good decision at a right time” and described the former DMC candidate as a “strong leader.”

He expressed the hope that the BJP would be strengthened by the joining of Omega and other NPF leaders. “In BJP, which is one of the world’s largest political party, everyone will get equal opportunity and justice,” Jacob added.
During the programme, Arvind Damani, NE co-incharge BJYM and Dimapur district BJP President, L. Bendang Ao also addressed the gathering and welcomed the former NPF workers.

Nagaland BJYM President, Benjamin Yepthomi also attended the programme along with his office bearers.
