Former NPF Minister joins BJP

In a big political development, the Naga People’s Front (NPF) 22 Arkakong Assembly Constituency including former Minister Nuklutoshi is set to merge with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland.

 


The official merger programme, a part of ongoing BJP Membership drive activities, will be held at Anü Mai Amphitheater in Chuchuyimlang village on July 27. 

 


According to the order of the programme, the event among others, will be attended by Temjen lmna Along, Minister Higher Education & Technical Education and Nagaland BJP President; Dr Longrineken Advisor Treasuries &Accounts, National Highway; M Chuba Ao, Member of State Core Committee BJP & Chairman, MARCOFED Ltd; Lanu 0 Tzudir, State spokesperson in-charge Mokokchung District & Mangkolemba; RN Nungsang President, BJP Mokokchung District; and Maongkaba Mandal, President BJP 22 Arkakong A/C. 

 


Nuklutoshi was the sitting legislator during the election to 13 Nagaland Legislative Assembly in February, 2018. Contesting on a NFF ticket, he however, lost the election to Imnatiba, Advisor - Industries & Commerce, Labour & Employment, Skill Development  & Entrepreneurship, in the current People’s Democratic Alliance Government.
