The foundation stone for the first Telugu Church in Nagaland state was laid at a ceremony held on May 7, 2011at Telugu Baptist Church (TBC) Residency colony, Dimapur. Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung, (NBCC general secretary) graced the occasion as chief guest; Vikholie (advisor-DMC) offered the opening prayer; word of God was presented by Rev. Dr. Zelhu Keyho (OTS Academic dean). Pastor Stephen Rao, Dimapur Telugu Baptist Church informed in a note that the land for TBC was donated by Mr & Mrs Vizolie Metha. Many Church pastors, the chairman, GB, Council members and other members of the residency colony attended the programme.
