Four families rendered homeless in fire

Dimapur, February 8 (MExN): Four families were rendered homeless after fire ravaged two houses at Neisatuo Colony, Dimapur on February 8.  

The fire, which occurred around 10:30 am, spread quickly engulfing two houses and partially damaging two adjacent houses, said one of the victims. Thatch structures with tin roofing, the houses were consumed by the flames in less than half an hour.   The arrival of the Fire & Emergency Services prevented the flames from spreading to nearby residences. Cause of the fire was unclear while property damage was yet to be assessed.  No one was harmed.
