Fourth batch of EDP conducted

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN):  The 4th batch of Entrepreneurship Development Programme was sponsored by the Department of Industries and Commerce, government of Nagaland. 40 unemployed youth of Nagaland from Tuensang and Kiphire district participated at the Training conducted by IIE at Urban Haat Dimapur, which concluded on April 15, 2011.
A press note issued by G. Panmei, assistant coordinator, EDP Urban Haat Dimapur informed that at the programme, various government Department of KVIC, DIC, NIDC, NECON etc took the training classes as resource person. Marienos Lotha, special officer DIC, DMP was the guest of honour at the valedictory function. He said that participants must be successful entrepreneurs in their venture for setting up of feasible project in their respective and selected location. He encouraged uplifting the educated youth of Nagaland and for the economy development through their programme.
Programme coordinator M, K Handique advised the participants to set up their unit with own efforts in initial stage and later from government assistance as per their guidelines. G. Panmei, assistant coordinator, also encouraged the participants to work hard and create talented ideas in their generation. The note also mentioned that the 5th batch of Entrepreneurship Development programme shall start on April 18, 2011.
