Kohima, July 21 (MExN): Fantasy Premier League Nagaland (FPL Nagaland), a community platform for football enthusiasts established in 2022, has concluded its Season 5 campaign with a prize distribution ceremony at Leisurely Cafe, Ministers Hill, Kohima.
Er Lalal Haihing (ShawYourWirtzFPLTeam) emerged as the overall champion, while Pfokrelo Pfoze (Chels Finest) secured the second position and Meren Chemba (Imchen Strikers) claimed the third spot. The honours were presented by Er Benathung in the presence of local fantasy football enthusiasts.
Beyond the virtual competition, the platform actively focuses on positive social outreach among youth, continuously advocating key messages such as “Say No to Drugs” and urging young people to channel their passion into sports, mental wellness, and constructive community engagement rather than substance abuse.
Organisers said FPL Nagaland has rapidly grown into a prominent community platform, bringing together managers and fans not only from across Nagaland but also from neighbouring states and international regions.
Following the highly competitive season, the organisers have announced that registrations for Season 6 will open in a few days, with bigger stakes and exciting prizes on offer.
As the league prepares for its upcoming season, organisers emphasised that the platform will continue using the love of football as a driving force for positive habits and youth empowerment across the region.
