Zunheboto, July 16 (MExN): A free dental health camp was organised by National Oral Health Program, Zunheboto at Asukhomi village on July 14.
The camp was led by Dr Esther Chophy Ngullie, Dr Mughalu Achumi, Dr Loni Chishi, Opthalmic Assistant Imkong Yanger, Nurses Menuovonuo Suokhrie and Yizano Odyuo from the District Hospital Zunheboto, and Dr Achem Sangtam Dental from CHC Aghunato and Nurse Likivi from SC Asukhomi village.
Around 140 people with tooth problems, general ailments and eye problems availed the free health camp service, stated a press release received here.
Psychologist NTCP Alibo Swu also sensitised the public on the harmful effects of tobacco and Nicotex was given to the tobacco users after counselling. Free medicines were distributed and Random Blood Sugar test was also done.
Vikato Khujumi in his short speech thanked the medical team and stressed on the need for more health camp in the future.
