Mon, May 2 (MExN): The one month Free Detox Camp (May 2018) at Tammong village Mon organized by Outreach Gospel Ministry, Mon was launched on May 1 with Thavaseelan K, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Mon as guest speaker. Longyim Tzudir, DPO, DAPCU Mon in a press release stated that the programme was chaired by Nyamjo, Women Leader, KBCM followed by an invocation prayer by Pastor, Tenyime Baptist Church Mon. N. Neangba Konyak, Director of De-Addiction & Rehab Center Mon while delivering a welcome address, thanked district administration, medical department and all who have extended support towards organizing the Camp. He mentioned that around 40 members were enrolled for free detox camp.
The DC Mon Thavaseelan K, in his short speech encouraged the clients to have the courage to change their behavior and to start a new and meaningful life in the society. The other resource persons who spoke in the programme include Lomei, President, KNSK, Longyim Tzudir, DPO, DAPCU, Laltienlien Khobung, PM, World Vision India, ADP Mon and Vrinda Shukla, SDPO Mon.
A special song was presented by OST Client and the inaugural session was concluded with prayer by Mon Town Baptist Pastors Fellowship.
