Kohima, March 5 (MExN): A free heart screening camp for congenital heart disease will be held at Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima on March 11 and Dimapur Civil Hospital on March 12.
A press release from Health City Hospital, Guwahati stated that this event is organised in collaboration with the National Health Mission and RB SK, Department of Health and Family Welfare Nagaland.
The screening camp will be attended by a team of doctors, including Dr Saurabhi Das MD, DNB, MNAMS, FNB, Director of Fetal and Paediatric Cardiology & Structural Congenital Heart Disease and Dr Nayem Raja MS, MCH-CTVS, Senior Consultant, Department of Paediatric Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Health City Hospital, Guwahati.
The press release stated that the camp aims to provide a free consultation and Echocardiography test for paediatric patients who may be suspected of having congenital heart diseases.
This screening will be conducted free of cost for all eligible participants.
The organisers have invited all concerned families with paediatric patients who may be at risk of congenital heart disease to take advantage of this opportunity for screening and consultation.
