Wokha, November 27 (MExN): Wokha District Administration, District Level Centre for Women (DLCW) & Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) in collaboration with District Transport Office, Wokha under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) conducted free learners driving test and license registration for female drivers.
A DIPR report said that the activity started last October where learner’s driver license was issued and in continuation organized the three-day driving test for the applicants at District Transport Office, Wokha from November 25 to 27.
The driving test was conducted under the supervision of District Transport staff and the test concluded on November 27. A total of 83 applicants enrolled for the free license registration.
The report also added that an awareness campaign will be conducted shortly focusing on Road Safety Driving and smart cards will be issued to the applicants during the campaign.
