Free medical health camp conducted at Kohima Bible College

Kohima, March 16 (MExN): The Urban Health Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Seikhazou conducted a free medical health camp at Kohima Bible College (KBC) on March 15, providing essential healthcare services to students, staff, and their families.

According to a press release from KBC, the medical team was led by Dr. Balvia Yalie, Medical Officer in charge (MO i/c) of UPHC Seikhazou, and included Dr. Medozhazo Rupreo, MO; Dr. Kediphrunuo Shuya, Dental Surgeon; nurses; a laboratory technician; and other healthcare staff.

The camp offered a range of services, including doctor's consultations, free medicines, immunization for pregnant mothers and children aged 16 years and below, free basic laboratory tests and screenings, information and education on health concerns, and family planning services.

KBC authorities expressed gratitude to Dr. Balvia Yalie and the medical team for conducting the camp, describing it as a timely initiative that greatly benefited the college community. They also expressed hope for continued collaborations in the future.
