The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) Working President, Khriedi Theünuo termed as unwarranted the freezing of the bank accounts of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and National Students' Union of India (NSUI by the BJP-led government.
According to Theünuo, such undemocratic action in the largest democracy in the world is killing the values of democracy. He said that freezing bank accounts are a move to paralyse the functioning of the Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. “It also exposes the fear of the BJP and its allies,” he added.
