Medziphema, April 19 (MExN): TBCM BKK, Khanglai FC, Milcom FC and Khanakhurü Students' Union (KSU) registered wins in the battle to qualify for pre-quarterfinal berths on the second day of the Frolic Cup on Wednesday. In the first match, TBCM BKK beat Peduzha FC 3-1 while Khanglai FC, Khaibung edged Sirhima Youth and Students' Union 4 - 5 via a tie-breaker. In the other games, Milcom FC beat Hekheshe FC 3 – 1 while Yiese FC lost to Khanakhurü Students' Union (KSU) 0-2. The 5th edition of the Frolic Cup got underway on April 18 at Local Ground Medziphema Town. Zhalio Rio, MLA 5th Ghaspani – II, was the chief guest at the opening ceremony while Sara Jamir, ADC of Medziphema, was the chief patron. Speaking as the chief guest, Zhalio reminded the gathering that every year open football tournament is been conducted and appealed the youngsters, Club managements, student communities and those with talents to carry forward with commitment and consistency and not to leave halfway. 39 teams are participating in the tournament which will conclude on April 29. On Tuesday’s first match, Tsiepema Village Youth Organisation crushed Excelsior 7-0 while KYC 'B' overwhelmed The Gunners, Dimapur 4-0. In the third match, Medziphema Village Youth Organisation beat United Falcon Club 4-1.
