Medziphema, April 21 (MExN): United FC, Starlit FC, Tribal FC and Leinghai FC progressed to the quarterfinals of the Frolic Cup played amid intermittent drizzle at the Local Ground, Medziphema on Friday. A spirited United FC, Medziphema thumped Genesis FC, Medziphema Village 4-1 while Starlit FC, Moava, eased past Young Challengers FC, Medziphema 2-0. In the other games, Scampers United FC went down fighting 1-2 to Tribal FC, Dimapur. Leinghai FC and Kickers FC, Chumukedima played out a closely contested match but it was the former which emerged victorious winning by a solitary goal.
