DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 3 (MExN): Sirhima FC, Fury FC Molvom & Ton FC Molvom moved on to the next round of the ongoing Frolic Cup on February 3.
Dolphin FC succumbed to Sirhima FC despite taking the lead in the 6th minute when a shot from Kikrukhrieto found the net. The joy was short lived however, as Sehgoulen scored an equalizer in the 10th minute. The lead was further extended in the 28th minute by Sehgoulen. The second half witnessed a trilling contest except for goals. The final score was 2-1 in favor of Sirhima FC.
The afternoon match witnessed a dominant display by Fury FC against Sechü Zubza Academy. Surhosul scored a hattrick in the 7th, 25th and 48th minutes while Thanglenhao scored in the 30th minute and Thulunso in 35th minute taking the game out of reach for SZA. A consolation goal for SZA came in 37th minute from the boot of Mhaphruovito Rhatu. The final score was 5-1 in favor of Fury FC.
Meanwhile, Ton FC Molvom defeated the Kuki Youth &Students Union in the evening match. Ton FC took away the game with 4 goals, coming from the boots of Henkhohao in the 7th minute, Jangvanglen in the 9th minute, Ngamlensang in the 25th minute and Henkhao in the 51st minute.
