DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 2 (MExN): VFA FC, Falcon United and Amigo won their matches at the ongoing Frolic Cup on February 2.
In the morning match, VFA defeated the Libra FC through a tie break after the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Sainem for Libra and Aliba of VFA scored for their respective team. Final score wes 5-4 in favour of VFA.
In the afternoon match, United Falcon Club overcame Ruzaphema Youth Organisation in a strong second half comeback despite an own goal. The goal scorers for RYO were Henry and Kevisede, while Mangal Gurung scored 2 goals for UFC. The final Score 3-2 in favor of UFC. Defending champions Amigos FC meanwhile overcame a spirited Patkai Christian College. Despite the counter attack, the amigos finesse at midfield and goal conversion sealed the match. Manton scored for PCC and Amigos goal scorers were Rhitso (2 goals) & Menguzelie. The final score was 3-1.
