From frying pan to fire

•-Unintentionally people sometimes get from bad to worst; in the fallible but sincere feeling of the Writer, of the many Peoples of the North East demanding SEPARATE STATE -the Ahom Tai People from a very early date of Indian Independence or recently the Bodos for BODOLAND, the Kacharis for DEMARAJI, the Nepalis for GORKHALAND and latest, the Tuensang-Mon people for a FRONTIER NAGALAND- none would get a State comparable to Nagaland in Status.
For others, the creation of a State simply, even without special Constitutional Provisions, would in itself be an elevation of the lot of the People, but for the Tuensang-Mon Nagas, the creation of a Separate State would be worst than their lot in the State of Nagaland.
NAGALAND is the only State with the distinction of being created a State with the Special Constitutional Guarantee out of an Agreement between the Government of India and Nagas:
i.      that land and its resources belongs to the People,
ii.     that in Traditional, Customary Practices, particularly in matters of transfer of Land & its Resources, no Act of  the Parliament would be valid unless it is accepted by the Assembly of Nagaland.

The States of Arunachal, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Manipur, all got Statehood after Nagaland but these States did not get the special Constitutional guarantee Nagaland got. Sikkim was even an Independent Kingdom earlier but its Status is no higher than Nagaland now.
It is very improbable ‘Frontier Nagaland’ would today or tomorrow get special constitutional Provisions what Mizoram or Meghalaya or Manipur or Arunachal Pradesh did not get. Once the Tuensang-Mon Area separates out of Nagaland, it would be outside Article 371-A and would not enjoy the guarantee. It would not be different from Tirap or Changlang Districts of Arunachal Pradesh and the lot of the people no better off than Nagas now living in Assam or Manipur.
Is the ENPO Leaders taking the people from the Frying Pan to the Fire? Excuse me if the question is too strongly naked.
