Hygiene rating of eateries based on the facilities’ hygiene and sanitation was carried out at Zunheboto town by FSSAI empanelled Hygiene Rating Audit Agency MS Certification Services Pvt Ltd, Kolkata on May 21.

Zunheboto, May 21 (MExN): Hygiene rating of eateries based on the facilities’ hygiene and sanitation was carried out at Zunheboto town by Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) empanelled Hygiene Rating Audit Agency MS Certification Services Pvt Ltd, Kolkata on May 21. The rating drive was conducted along with Designated Officer (Food Safety) C Merenlemba Ao, Food Safety Officer Mokokchung Zone, Sukumlo Yanthan, Dr K Akaho Sema, Dy CMO Zunheboto.

In a press release, District Media Officer, CMO office Zunheboto stated that the hygiene rating of eateries based on the facilities’ hygiene and sanitation of the food preparation area is a premier initiative of FSSAI which will allow the consumers to make informed choices of the outlets they choose to eat and also encouraged the food businesses to showcase and improve their food hygiene standards. In addition this will also help the Food Business Operators to distinguish itself from others and create its unique identity as responsible Food business establishment.
Altogether 13 eateries, cafes and restaurant were inspected and audited.
