Kohima, May 30 (MExN): Public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), on May 29 assured that stocks of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are fully adequate and are being supplied without any interruption across Nagaland.

According to a joint statement, all retail outlets, LPG distributorships, terminals and depots in the state are functioning normally, while the fuel supply chain remains robust, with replenishment cycles operating on schedule at all storage and distribution points.

The companies said domestic LPG consumers can continue to expect regular deliveries through their respective distributors. Home delivery of LPG cylinders is proceeding as usual, and consumers can book refills through standard channels, including phone, mobile applications and online portals, without the need to visit distributor premises.

Petrol and diesel are also available normally across all retail outlets, the statement added.

The oil industry is maintaining active coordination across logistics, transportation and retail networks to ensure that no disruption occurs at any point in the supply chain. Stock levels are being monitored on a real-time basis by all three OMCs, it said.

The companies advised consumers to purchase fuel and book LPG refills only as per their requirements and refrain from panic buying or stockpiling, stressing that adequate quantities are available to meet demand.

They also urged the public to rely solely on official communications issued by oil marketing companies and government authorities for accurate information on fuel availability and to disregard unverified reports or rumours.
