Dimapur, August 28 (MExN): A full-fledged CRPF unit headquarter is to be established shortly in Chümoukedima, Dimapur District on an area measuring 50.15 acres which was purchased in 2010 for establishment of an unattached Battalion of CRPF.
According to a press release from 173 BN CRPF, MHA has approved for construction of staff quarters, administrative blocks, hospitals, quarter guard, playground, men’s club in the said project for Battalion camping site and initial survey and preliminary estimates have already been done for constructions of boundary walls.
“Further, layout plan of staff quarters, administration blocks etc is already in the process,” it stated.
“With this development happening in near future, it is assured that there will be a huge impact to the people especially in terms of economy and developmental activities in Chümoukedima area in particular and Dimapur district in general,” 173 BN CRPF release added.
