Nagaland PWD (Housing & Mechanical Engineering) Minister P Bashangmongba Chang today stated that the work for construction of the PWD Guest House at Tseminyu was stopped due to constraints of funds.
Replying this to MLA Ar Jwenga Seb in unstarred question at the ongoing 8th session of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) here today, the minister informed that administrative approval has been obtained prior to issuance of work order.
On being asked whether the Department proposes to complete the Project and expected timeline for completion, the minister stated that the project has been included in the Department's compiled priority proposal list 2026- 2027.
The department intends to complete the project during financial year i.e. 2026-27. However, the completion of the project also will depend on the allocation of the fund, he stated.
