
Wokha, August 7 (MExN): Prominent senior citizen from the Lotha Tribe, K. R. Murry breathed his last at 6am on Sunday morning after braving cancer for the past 5 years. In this regard, family members have informed that the funeral service of late Murry will be held at 11am, Monday at his residence in Upper NST, Wokha Town. Informing this in a press release, the family thanked all well-wishers who have stood by them through the troubled years. NPF condoles: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Central has expressed pain to learn about the demise of K.R. Murry, a prominent senior citizen from the Lotha Tribe, who passed away at the family home in Wokha Town on Sunday. The father of Dr. Chumben Murry, former Minister and NPF leader, late Murry hailed from Wokha village and had made considerable contribution to the society in different capacities. He was a Retired Jt. Director of the Dept. of Social Welfare, a Lawyer and veteran politician, a condolence message from the NPF stated. The President Naga People’s Front, Dr Shürhozelie Liezetsu and all ranks and files of the NPF Central, convey heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that the departed soul rest in peace, the message added.
