Fusion Crew wins 1st edition Teen’s Dance Hunt Wokha

The first edition of Griffin Motors Teen’s Dance Hunt was organized at Youth Centre DBHSS, Wokha on January 12, wherein eleven solo and group dancers battled for the competition. Introducing the competition, support team member Teen’s dance Hunt, Ren Naga encouraged young talented dancers to avail the platform, and assured to make the event a colorful one in the near future. Fusion Crew was adjudged winner of the Teen’s Dance Hunt and also took home the Judges’ Pick Award. Kijanbeni Ezung and Zippy Crew were placed as first runners-up and second runners-up respectively. The Top Choreography Award was won by Michael Ngullie.


Dr Pithungo Kikon of Olive Home gave away the cash awards with certificates for the overall champion, first runner-up and second runner-up with a cash prize of Rs 25000, Rs 20000 and Rs 10000 respectively. Two categories of awards - Judges’ Pick Award, adjudicators presented the award to the performance of their choice; and Top Choreography Award each carrying cash award of Rs 3000 and certificates was awarded. The judges for the first edition were photographer Alex Tsopoe and Social Entrepreneur Yiben R Humtsoe. The event was hosted by Achanbeni M Lotha, and special appearances by Six Teens, Mhono and Zcuhanbeni, and Beat boxer Obed Sumi. Nchumbemo Humtsoe pronounced the vote of thanks. The support Team extended their appreciation to all individuals and groups for their valuable support in making the Teen’s Dance Hunt a success.
