Changtongya, August 5 (MExN): Inaugural programme of GA rest house at Changtongya Town and multipurpose hall funded under the minister of Tribal Affairs during 2018-19 at Yaongyimsen village was held on August 1. It was inaugurated by Advisor Industries & Commerce, Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Imnatiba, stated a DIPR report.
He also unveiled the plaque of the GA rest house. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the purpose of the rest house is to provide shelter to the guest and appealed to the concern department to make the best use of the guest house, so as to benefit all, and also to maintain the rest house.
The programme was chaired by SDO (C) Changtongya, Moakumzuk Tzudir. Technical report was presented by Er. Sungtiba America EE CAWD. Short speeches were delivered by ADC, Commissioner’s office Kohima, Limanenla; Head G.B Changtongya Town, Imkongsowa and Tali Contractor. Vote of thanks was delivered by Rajesh Soundararajan IAS Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung.
The inaugural programme of the multipurpose hall at Yaongyimsen village was chaired by Sentila Sanglier, Associate pastor women. Speaking at the programme, Imnatiba thanked the landowner for their contribution in construction of the multipurpose hall, which will benefit the villagers. He also said that through the schemes and the development activities comes from the government, the villagers are responsible for the proper implementations and to carry out all the activities.
Speeches were also delivered by Riongsanger Putu. Yaongyimsen village, Kosasanger Putu Changtongya village and Yim Lanur Yaongyimsen village. Welcome speech and vote of thanks were delivered by Imlilepzuk G.B Signal Angami Dimapur and by Latong Imsong president Yaongyimsen union Dimapur.
