Gandhi Shilp Bazaar inaugurated at Mokokchung

Mokokchung, January 20 (MExN): The Gandhi Shilp Bazaar, sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, was inaugurated at the Town Hall, Mokokchung on January 20.

The event was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Atsungba Walling, who encouraged the public to visit the bazaar to support local and national artisans and to experience the cultural heritage showcased through handmade works.

The exhibition-cum-sale will run for seven days from January 20 to January 26. The bazaar will be open daily from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Gandhi Shilp Bazaar aims to provide a platform for artisans from various parts of the country to showcase their craftsmanship. It features a wide range of authentic handicrafts and handloom products, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to directly interact with artisans and purchase traditional products.
