More than 100 craftsmen from across the country are participating in the 10-day mega Gandhi Shilp Bazar at Urban Haat, Dimapur inaugurated by Bendangtoshi Longkumer, OSD to Government of Nagaland, Industries & Commerce on Tuesday.
A varied range of exclusively designed hand-woven ladies and kids wear, innovative and decorative crafts and jewellery are on display. Besides crafts from the north eastern states, cane and bamboo furniture from Kochbihar, Kohlapuri shoes from Kohlapur, crafts from Panaji, Nagpur, Indore etc are also on display.
The craft festival is being organized by Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd and sponsored by Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi.
