Khonoma Women Union facilitated by Women Resource Development, government of Nagaland under Myki Village Adoption Initiative (TLI) will be organising Chümerie (Garlic) Festival at Terhuotsiese, Khonoma village on March 14, 2025 from 11 a.m. onwards.
During the festival items such as local organic garlic, vegetables, handloom products among others will be made available.
Minister for Rural Development, Metsübo Jamir will be gracing the festival as special guest.
Departments including, Women Resource Development, Horticulture and Agriculture will also be taking part in the festival.
Meanwhile, the organisers have invited the general public to come and witness the event and also procure local produces which will be sold at exciting prices.
