Dimapur, November 23 (MExN): The Garos in Nagaland celebrated Wangala, a post harvest festival of the Garo community on November 21. The festival was celebrated under the common theme, ‘our culture is the soul of our tribe.’
This year the festival was celebrated in different Garo villages and units in an around Nagaland following all the COVID-19 norms and SOPs guidelines issued by the state Government.
A press release from the Nagaland Garo Tribal Council, president, Karamal G Momin stated that tt was celebrated in the villages and units including, Dubagaon village, Samaguri, Ekaranipathar, Darogapathar, Eralibill, Dimapur town and Chümoukedima.
