GB federation conks back Congress on PR

Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): Responding to the criticism of the Nagaland Congress following the GBs’ call for revoking President’s Rule in Nagaland, the GB Federation has flayed the Congress party challenging ‘why the central government did not allow the Congress party if it claimed to have the mandate.’ The GB Federation also took a potshot at the Congress stating that the party is behaving like children “playing football.”

‘While seeing the present political situation in Nagaland, the elected members as MLAs whom we call as VIPs, are playing like children playing football’ stated a response from the advisor of the federation TL Angami. The GB federation remarked that the Congress legislators “went together to Delhi” and brought President’s Rule in Nagaland. ‘Why did the GoI not allow the Congress party in Nagaland to form a Congress government in Nagaland if the said party have mandate?’ the GBs queried.

The federation reminded that it is neither in support of the NPF nor the Congress party. The GB Federation in fact actively involve in the welfare of the people from the grass-root level.

However, the federation ‘saluted’ the Congress for giving the former ‘an opportunity to clear the confusion from the hearts of the Nagas.’ The federation also urged the voter in Nagaland to elect the right leaders in the coming state assembly elections.  The federation also added that the Congress rather needs the help of the federation if the party “is not getting justice…”
