
Dimapur, June 1 (MExN): The GB of Thahekhu village, Dimapur H Tovito Ayemi passed away on June 1. Tovito is also the elder brother of Advisor to the Department of Power, Government of Nagaland, H Tovihoto Ayemi.
The Dy CM Y Patton in a condolence message said that Ayemi, also the proprietor of Nili Motors, Dimapur, was a refined gentleman who had the utmost concern for the upliftment of society as well as unmatched compassion for others. His numerous contributions will be long remembered by the people. Patton has conveyed his deep condolences to the family members.
The Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) in a condolence note said that his early departure from this world for a better world is a great lose not only for the family but also for the citizens of Dimapur. In his demise we have lost a valuable man of Dimapur.
“At this hour of grief and sorrow, we share the same sorrow as a family. It is our humble prayer to the Almighty God that He will give comfort and solace to the bereaved family. May his soul, rest in peace in the arms of God,” the forum stated.
The Western Sümi Baptist Akükühou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) said that it is a great loss for the Sümi community to lose a person of such high morale and stature whose contribution towards Thahekhu Village and Sümi community will always be remembered.
“In this hour of grief, WSBAK joins in conveying our deepest and heartfelt empathy to the bereaved family members. It is our humble prayer that our Almighty God give them comfort and strength to bear the irreparable loss,” WSBAK Executive Secretary, Rev Dr Phughoto Sema stated.
