Dimapur, July 5 (MExN): Lauding ACAUT Nagaland and district administration for busting fuel adulteration racket within Dimapur district, GB's Union Dimapur has urged the district administration to take stern action against the persons running the adulteration outlets/fuel stations.
In a press release, the GBs union also affirmed that the demands of ACAUT to cancel permits of the fuel outlets should be seriously considered so that people will desist from such nature of crime in future. “Because of these few crooked people, thousands of vehicle engines are being damaged (condemned) making huge losses in terms of economy,” it maintained.
Asserting that the people involved in the racket should be made accountable so justice will prevail, the union also asked that right thinking citizens/organizations should come out strongly and condemn this sort of modus operandi.
It also reminded the general people, especially the GBs, to be vigilant against anti-social elements and communicate to the administration/law enforcing agencies to curb crimes in Dimapur.
