Dimapur, September 9 (MExN): GDRN/NNC (N/A) under the leadership of its President, Kiumukam Yimchunger has stated that the allegations made against the President in the recent days are “all malicious to downgrade the image of a true and reliable leader.”
This clarification comes few days after a press release informed that Kiumukam has been “impeached” on “charge of extortion, which was visible in his recent arrest by Assam Rifles.”
A press release issued by MIP, GDRN/NNC (N/A) today maintained that “the present situation is created through some workers who were recently inducted and given authority and opportunity by the Government in good sense believing they can serve the nation and deliver their knowledge and selfless sacrifice, instead in order to topple the Government, their wisdom was contained with only flirty and greedy minded which is unacceptable to the humanity.”
The erstwhile Kilonser In-charge of the MIP, it alleged, “is misled by the power mongers and irresponsible persons and is now following in their lines and succumbed to their flirty game.” Therefore, he is terminated and the President appoints Hetoi Chophy, Deputy In-charge of MIP, the release stated. All Govt. related correspondence should be made through him as authorized, it added.
Meanwhile, the release affirmed that “the GDRN/NNC (N/A) is intact and running smoothly as before with constitutional right and there is no other establishment or organization and shall not be accepted.”
