Kohima, July 18 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer of Kohima has in a press release informed that Arup Kumar Saha is the General Observer for the bye-election to the 10 Northern Angami- I A/C. He can be contacted at 7630919416. If anyone desires to meet him, he will be available in the office of the Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer, Kohima on all working days from between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
In another press release, the DC & RO, Rajesh Soundararajan informed that the General Observer Arup Kumar Saha held a meeting with him, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Kohima, ADC HQ & ARO Kohima, representatives of the candidates for the bye-election and all the Nodal Officers of different teams today.
Saha impressed upon the candidates/representatives to ensure that the Model Code of Conduct is not violated. He also informed them to abide by the guidelines on printing of posters and banners, maintain expenditure register as per directives of the ECI, instruct their polling agents to be present in the polling stations on the polling day by 6:00 am, the release added.
The Observer also informed the candidates/representatives to contact him in the local number or meet him in the office of the DC & RO on any working day between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm for any election related matters.
