Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): The village gate of Ghokito village constructed under Grant-in-Aid 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 was inaugurated at a formal function held on October 10. Block Development Officer, RD Block Kuhuboto, Phoishe Sema inaugurated the gate on behalf of the department.
Phoishe lauded the villagers and VDB of Ghokito for judicious utilization of the fund meant for village development. He said erecting a permanent gate at the village by them was an achievement of the village as it will be the true identity of the village. He reminded the villagers that the department is always there to assist in bringing all round development to respective villages provided the villagers are sincere in fund utilization.
Tokiho Chophy, junior engineer, RD Block Kuhuboto also exhorted the villagers. Pastor of Ghokito Village Baptist Church, Hutoshe Rochill offered dedication prayer.
